LuganoDante has it all: easy access by car, train and funicular, a very central location, underground parking, very good food at breakfast and dinner, friendly people, cozy rooms with soft lighting. Swiss prices, but you get a lot for your money. The hotel slogan is „We like you“. I had the feeling, they, the upbeat and mostly young staff, really did.

The funicular to the Lugano main train station (a 1.5 minute ride), and the pedestrian area of the old town with its shops are in front of the hotel entrance.

 

 

Piazza Riforma, the lakeshore promenade and its public boat moorings, the LAC art museum, famous Via Nassa shopping street with its high end shops, the central public bus station, the public parking garages Motta and LAC, are all less than a 10 minute walk away. A lot of convenience in the heart of Lugano.
