Seventy Barcelona in the L’Eixample neighborhood is my number one hotel choice in Barcelona. Key advantages here are the great location near major tourist attractions and the convenient parking garage under the building. Another plus is the positive and casual vibe throughout the hotel. This may be owed to the excellent breakfast buffet including the free cava, the cheerful staff, or the cool and never intrusive music in the public areas. The superior double rooms on two different occasions overlooked a quiet courtyard, the bath rooms had large shower stalls.

 

There are a lounge, a sun deck and a pool on the 7th floor, a strategically located bar at the entrance, a fitness center, a spa, and an indoor pool. The patio next to the breakfast room is lined with olive trees. All of this contributes to the Mediterranean ambience of this beautiful hotel.
